BlueNav has granted exclusive distributorship rights for the UK and Ireland to Technical Marine Supplies and the Netherlands to De Stille Boot to ensure the deployment of BlueNav’s products and services.

Technical Marine Supplies and De Stille Boot will be responsible for handling sales, service, installation and aftersales support for BlueNav products in their respective markets, catering to both the leisure and commercial boats.

BlueNav, established in 2020, focuses on developing environmentally conscious motorization solutions. These solutions are designed to convert medium-sized boats, ranging from 8-15 meters in length and normally propelled by combustion engines, into hybrid electric boats.

At the heart of its portfolio lies BlueSpin, an electric motor characterized by its retractable, compact and lightweight design. This motor can be installed in both newly constructed boats and existing ones as a retrofit option. BlueSpin integrates with an advanced navigation system, enabling improved energy usage scenarios while using the motor.

Nick Cook, senior sales manager of Technical Marine Supplies, commented, “TMS is delighted to announce its partnership with BlueNav. With our highly skilled sales and technical teams dedicated to serving the OEM and refit markets in the UK, this collaboration represents a perfect alignment between two industry-leading companies. Our shared commitment to maintaining a robust inventory resonates with BlueNav, and we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our first shipment into the UK. The level of professionalism demonstrated by the BlueNav team has left us thoroughly impressed, and we are excited about forging a strong and enduring partnership.”

Marcel Schaap, co-founder of De Stille Boot, stated, “The BlueSpin range of motors is a very valuable complement to our existing range. It offers solutions for applications that other motor brands cannot. Together with our electric boating expertise we make a great team, coupled with shared values when it comes to sustainable boating.”

Thomas Frouin, co-founder of BlueNav, added, “BlueNav’s international expansion is driven by its vision to spearhead the evolution of electric propulsion technology in the boating industry, making electric propulsion the new standard. By collaborating with partners and engaging with industry stakeholders globally, we aim to showcase the benefits and possibilities of alternative propulsion systems, including enhanced efficiency, reduced emissions and improved performance. BlueNav strives to be a catalyst for positive change in the global boating industry.”
