UK-based Navtech Radar is at Autonomous Ship Expo 2024 (co-located with Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe) to talk about its high-resolution radar technology.
As the company’s marine business development manager, Rachael O’Connor, explained to Electric & Hybrid Marine Technology International, this technology is crucial for autonomous vessel applications, as it can detect small objects, enhancing safety and collision avoidance.
Navtech offers different sensor sizes to suit various vessels and works with other companies for sensor fusion and software integration.
