Enersense Works and Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) have signed an agreement for the outfitting work of two new liquefied natural gas-fueled car and passenger ferries set to be built at the Rauma shipyard in Finland for TT-Line. Provider of zero-emission energy solutions,
The contract outlines many technical areas of the ferry build, including the installation of steel and piping installations within the main engine rooms and LNG tank areas. The pair will also carry out insulation work on board the two ferries. Both ferries have been designed to operate in harsh conditions and will use environmentally friendly liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel to feed the engines for propulsion.
The recent TT-Line agreement for the implementation of LNG projects will strengthen Enersense’s Smart Works business, as the company seeks to promote a zero-emission society.
