Propulsion systems and electric boat manufacturer Pure Watercraft has unveiled an all-electric pontoon boat at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, USA.
The 24.7ft all-electric boat can be fitted with single or twin Pure outboard motors and a 66kWh battery pack. The propulsion system can propel the vessel to speeds of up to 37km/h while producing zero emissions. It is the first Pure product to be built in collaboration with General Motors.
Designed as a luxury pontoon boat for fishing, cruising and watersports, the vessel can carry up to 10 people and is said to provide a new level of performance with less maintenance required. The first vessels are scheduled for delivery toward the end of 2022.
