A free-to-attend, brand new, three-day online conference highlighting the next generation of electric and hybrid marine propulsion technologies and featuring expert speakers from GE, Wartsila, Lloyd’s Register, DNV GL, BAE Systems and more will launch this January.

Brought to you by the publisher of Electric & Hybrid Marine Technology International and the organiser of Electric & Hybrid Marine World Expo, Electric & Hybrid Marine Virtual ‘Live’ will take place January 19, 20, 21, 2021, providing participants with a fantastic opportunity to network and share experiences, ask questions and discuss important industry developments.

After a highly challenging and disruptive 2020, this exclusive event in the new year will provide a much-needed platform for ship owners, operators, boat builders, propulsion system designers and manufacturers, naval architects, military fleet operators/chiefs, and port operators to connect and engage with each other about the research and technology that is essential for a more sustainable marine sector.

Dedicated sessions across the three days include: Energy Storage for Electric & Hybrid Shipping; Infrastructure for Electric & Hybrid Shipping; Battery Safety; Power Control Systems; Alternative Fuels For Electric & Hybrid Shipping; Nuclear Powered Ships – The Alternative Solution For Absolute Zero-Emission Ships; CIMAC Circle – Electrification/Hybridization – A Solution For Every Ship Type?;  Electric & Hybrid Vessels Case Studies; Modelling Testing And Simulation; and The Future Of Electric Shipping.

With speakers drawn from across the industry, participants can look forward to an insight-packed agenda, with Makhlouf Benatmane, marine navy solutions leader, GE Power Conversion; Oskar Levander, SVP concepts & innovation, Kongsberg Maritime; Ricardo Batista, senior naval architect, European Maritime Safety Agency; and Vince Jenkins, global head of risk management, Lloyd’s Register, among just some of those due to present, this coming January.
