The focus is on an electric propulsion unit used in small ferries and submarines and the quiet Panda 5000i Neo generator at the Fischer Panda stand at Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe 2024. The company is also showing a 5kW solution for small sailing and charter boats.
As Marcel Schwarzenberg-Unruh, sales manager at Fischer Panda, explained to Electric & Hybrid Marine Technology International, the growing market for these systems is influenced by legislation and environmental concerns. He also highlighted the collaboration between Fischer Panda and system integrators in building entire systems, along with potential refits or system changes based on project needs.
