EXPO NEWS | Day 2: Tesvolt debuts high-density E series battery storage systems

First-time exhibitor Tesvolt is at Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe to display its new EOH series battery storage system, which reportedly offers maximum power and excellent value for money. Latest-generation lithium-ion cells from Lithtech reduce costs, increase performance and deliver a higher security standard as requested by DNV.

“This is one of the biggest trade fair shows [for marine decarbonization] here in Europe regarding the maritime market, so we wanted to show the two systems – the EOH1.0 and EOH1.1 – that round out our product portfolio,” explained Oliver Hille, Tesvolt’s marketing communication representative.  “They both offer strong reliability and high energy density – at 222W/h per liter – within a secure, safe package.

“They are also easy to install, as they can be configured in racks ready for wall, floor or tower installation on board without any major modification required by the shipowner or operator.  We already have over 50 major customers in Germany and now the system is fully DNV certified, we’re keen to explore new markets.”

The company says it has already seen great interest: “We’ve already met some system integrators from shipyards and we’ve generated lots of leads in the first hour of the show alone,” said Hille.
